As a student, there are many things that make us stressed, like assignments, attendance, internships, jobs and so much more. I remember that one time when I started having trouble sleeping. My heartbeats used to rise, I used to feel very shaky and dizzy. And this happened almost every night. I felt like working and studying. I was so stressed about exams and internships that I almost forgot about how badly it was affecting me and stress can literally not help me in getting done anything.
There are many things that I learned and implemented in my life that have helped me control stress.
One is recognizing and understanding my emotions, as well as what triggers them. This has helped me to better control my reactions and manage my stress levels.
Also, I stopped expecting perfection from myself or others, which helped me let go of unrealistic expectations and focus on progress instead.
One of the most valuable skills I learned was cognitive reframing. This technique helped me change my perspective on negative situations and turn them into opportunities for growth.
By recognizing my emotions, understanding my triggers, and practicing cognitive reframing, I have been able to approach challenges with a calm and confident mindset that has helped me become more resilient and stress-free.
