A few years ago, I began working in Bangalore. When I had some time off, I decided to take a solo trip to Ooty🌳With four days to myself, it was the perfect opportunity to try traveling alone.✈️🧳 I packed my bags and set off on my adventure. The best part? There was no drama of yaha nahi jaana, yh nahi karna, it felt like freedom.😍
As this is a story about my first solo trip, I won't go into detail about what I saw. Instead, I'll share my feelings and insights from the experience that might help you decide whether to take a solo trip. 😉
When I reached, I was absolutely stunned by the beauty of Ooty😇. At first, I was a bit scared. Being alone in a new place with no one I knew made me feel nervous. I was alert the whole time, watching everything closely, and too scared to ask for anything🫤. At times, I felt lonely too. But despite these small challenges, the best part of the trip was the freedom it afforded me. I was able to explore the area exactly how I wanted.🥳
Being surrounded by nature🌄was a peaceful and calming experience that made me realize how important it is to spend time with myself. This was the moment I came to appreciate the value of solo travel🗺️. When you travel alone, you learn more about who you really are and find your true self, because you're spending time with yourself the entire time⏳. After this trip, there was no turning back. I now try to take at least one solo trip every 4-5 months. It's all about that first trip, and once you experience the freedom and peace it offers, you'll fall in love with it.💖
