I graduated during the covid lockdown and then started my "work from home" job. I was living in the comfort of my home for 3 to 4 years. At home, I was dependent on others as I am the youngest child in the family and you know how they are treated EVIL LAUGH... LOL!😈 In short, I was living the best life... getting money at the comfort of my home, enjoying every little bit of this oh-so-relaxing lifestyle. But then, my Jethalal wali kundli couldn't see my happiness and got into play.🤦♂️
My company started to call us back to the office... which means I had to go to a completely new city, Bangalore. Trust me when I say this, I considered leaving my job. I had a complete breakdown... as I was so comfortable in my little space and routine, wake - work - eat - Netflix - repeat.🙃
Left with no option I unwillingly left for Bangalore.✈️ I shifted to my aunt's house there and that was a relief.
First day of office was daunting. I did not talk to anyone for like a week... I used to get my task... would finish it and then leave for home. But, had to move out of my aunt's house which forced me to interact with colleagues."Talk about general things" was my mantra. I started reading trending news so that I'll have topics to talk about🙃. Started getting out of that comfort zone, made friends and luckily found colleagues who wanted a flatmate.🏢
I learned so many new things which I could never have in the protected environment of my house like discipline, emergency cooking, laundry and much more😄
I believe that just like baby birds leave their nests to fly, we also need to leave our comfort zone to succeed and grow.
Wishing you continued success🌟
An inspiring journey of stepping out of comfort, Keep shining and soaring!
Certainly leaving a comfort zone will help in developing your personality and gaining self confidence.
